Abstract:The collection consists of typescripts of the first and second versions of the poem, by James T. Farrell, published under the title "Willie Collins speaking" with annotations and corrections by the author. Both versions are kept in an envelope with the published version that appears on page 47 in the Collected Poems of James T. Farrell. The first version is entitled "Willie Collins' greatest victory." The second version is entitled "Willie Collins' victory in his grave."
