Paul Darcy Boles was a Georgia author. He was born in 1916 and died in 1984. His novel "Deadline" won a Freedom Foundation citation in 1967 and his novel, "Parton's Island" earned the Friends of Amerian Writers' Award. Even though Boles dropped out of high school, he took on various jobs before touring Europe. He published short stories and poems in periodicals in both America and Europe. He was married with three children.
Organized into two boxes: Box 1 contains poems (2 folders) and novels (8 folders - Deadline 5 folders and Parton's Island 3 folders). Box 2 contains short stories (7 folders), and miscellaneous papers.
