Biographical/Historical Note

William H. Bonner (born 1831) enlisted in the 49th Georgia Infantry as a private on March 3, 1862, and was eventually discharged for disability. He also served in the Georgia 1st Regiment Volunteer Infantry.


Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of handwritten materials (primarily a six page letter) about the purchase of several slaves by William H. Bonner.
