Biographical/Historical Note

Dr. Roy Ward is a University of Georgia graduate and Watkinsville native who served his hometown as a physician for 40 years or so. He now spends time painting and writing poetry.

Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of several books including, An Extra Eye; From Chickens to Poinsettias; A Little Black Book of Joy and Sorrow; Churches; and Pretty Close to Home. Also included in the collection are letters and materials relating to the publication of his books.
