Biographical/Historical Note

The Georgia Cotton Growers Co-Operative Association was founded in 1922 in Atlanta. It ceased operations in 1933. D.W. Brooks was the one who founded the Georgia Cotton Growers Co-Operative Association (GCGCA). Brooks founded the GCGCA in Carollton GA in Carroll County.
