Andrew Jackson Cobb (1857-1925) was a lawyer and judge who lived in Athens, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1876 and finished his law degree from the UGA School of Law in 1877.
The collection consists of miscellaneous papers related to Andrew Jackson Cobb and his family, including high school report cards from 1867 and 1870; an official announcement, on vellum, of his election to Judge of the Superior Court of the Western Judicial circuit in 1918; and a diploma and other documents from the University of Georgia dating from 1921 that probably belonged to Cobb's son.
