The collection consists of a 481 page ledger of accounts for T. H. Dearing Mercantile from May 17, 1886 to October 1, 1889. In 1889 the store was located at 105 North Thomas Street in Athens, Georgia. Entries include the date, customer's name, items purchased, and amount charged.
