Biographical/Historical Note

Frank Comer was the former owner of Milhaven Plantation in Milhaven, Georgia (Screven County). Milhaven Plantation was owned by the Lorimer family at a later date.


Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of various business correspondence, financial documents, and some personal letters addressed to "my own darling boy" and signed "with lots of love from Badnuss." Later, this person writes to him as "my dear Buddie" and signs the letter "with bushels of love and kisses for my dear Buddie, from Baby."
