|Abstract:||The collection consists of two items which include the land grant and survey. The land grant in the 1832 Gold Lottery under Governor Charles J. McDonald was for 40 acres in 12th Dist. of the 1st Section of Cherokee County, #125, and dated 1 June 1843. The survey signed by Surveyor General Alfred M. Horton is dated 15 August 1832.|
