Biographical/Historical Note

Tara Maginnis was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Georgia from 1985-1987. She is currently an instructor and costume design specialist at Diablo Valley College. However, she is best known for her creation of The Costumer's Manifesto, one of the World Wide Web's largest, and most eclectic, costume sites.


Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of 32 slides of costumes designed by Tara Maginnis while a student at the University of Georgia. The designs were for "The Romancers" (1985) and "Lord Byron's Love Letter" (1986) which were performed on campus by the Georgia Resident Acting Company.
