The collection consists of one letter, dated January 28, 1987, written by Isabella D. Harris of Decatur, Georgia, and addressed to Max Gilstrap of Athens, Georgia. In the letter Ms. Harris discusses general Georgia history. There is also a four-page post script in which Ms. Harris recalls the racial problems in Forsyth County, Georgia, where she lived as a child in the early 1900's.
