Abstract:The collection consists of approximately 25 letters sent from Pvt. Willie Robison to his mother, Mrs. Annie R. Robison Evans of Shellman, Georgia during World War II. Pvt. Robison was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia, later at Fort Dix, New Jersey and served in the Pacific during 1946. He was a member of Company B, 83rd Signal Corps, Heavy Construction Battalion.
