Lt. Charles K. Howard served in the Navy during World War II, from 1944-1945. As a surgeon, he practiced primarily aboard the USS Monrovia. He was stationed in the Pacific Ocean near Kamaole and Maui, Hawaii. He had a wife, Mary, and two sons.
