Abstract:The collection consists of responses of some 70 members of the former Confederate States of America Congress to Jones' questions regarding when they took their seat in Congress and how long they served. Some responses add a few other details, such as when they were elected. Jones apparently intended to write some sort of history of the Congress. There is an inventory note in the portfolio.
