Irving Kaplan was a soldier during World War II. He went into service in 1943 and served in the Quartermaster Corps on the Joint Purchasing Board. He died in 1962.
The collection consists of 44 photographs taken in Auckland, New Zealand, from 1943-1945. Most of the photos are of Irving Kaplan, though some contains native people engaging in everyday activities. Some photos also have corresponding negatives.
