Biographical/Historical Note

Mr. Stone was the founder of the Georgia Forestry Association and is in the Georgia Forester's Hall of Fame. He worked for Pfister and Vogel Land Company in Blairsville for many years and helped get the road through Neel's Gap connecting Georgia and Tennessee.
