Abstract:The collection consists of minutes, records, and related documents of the Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Clarke County, Georgia, and the Mars Hill Primitive Baptist church from 1832 to 2008. The collections document the topics discussed and decisions made in regards to church business. Also includes the confession of faith, rules of decorum, and a list of founding members. Notable is the fact that the Mars Hill Church records cover the 19th century, while the Mount Zion records are from the mid to late 20th century.
