Robert N. Reed was a partner of Baldwin, Reed, and Company and later of R.N. Reed and Company, cotton factors and general commission merchants, of Savannah.

The collection consists of receipts, bills, agreement, and letter which relate to Robert N. Reed. The agreement, dated June 1, 1867, between W.H. Stark and Company and R.N. Reed and Company pertains to loans granted to James Wilson of Albany, Georgia, for cotton planting.
