"The Phi Kappa Literary Society is a debate organization founded in 1820 at University of Georgia. It is the second oldest Greek-lettered collegiate society in North America as well as a part of the oldest collegiate rivalry in the United States - [the Demosthenian Literary Society vs. the Phi Kappa Literary Society]. The collection consists of one letter postmarked 20 February 1900 is addressed to Mrs. A. L. Erwin, Athens. It invites her to the Phi Kappa Literary Society's anniversary exercises to be held on February 22nd. Also included is a 1900 Kappa Phi ribbon.
