Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of a manuscript forming a portion of a sermon on the "Human side of salvation." The manuscript is probably by Patrick Hues Mell, chancellor of the University of Georgia for most of the decade of the 1880's. It is badly water-stained and has several holes with some loss of text.
