Biographical/Historical Note

Guillermo Augusto Kreibohm de la Vega was born in the Tucumán Province of Argentina in December 1892. He died in 1976. He married in 1923 to Guillermina Brito, and the two had three children. Most notably, Guillermo travelled to the United States of América and specialized in the crops of cotton in the University of Georgia. He seemed to have been in the United States in the 1930s and 1940s. He was contracted in 1936 by the Estación Experimental Agrícola like Specialist Technician of Experimentation and Promotion - Cotton Section.


Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of a cartoon drawn by Mr. Guillermo Augusto Kreibohm de la Vega concerning a University of Georgia Bulldogs vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football game, highlighting the longstanding rivalry between the two teams. The caption reads, "Georgia stepped so hard on the yellow jacket's back that the whole thing went out." Original colored ink drawing.
